Trauma-Informed, Compliance-Focused Practice

With over two decades of experience across hospitality, retail, training, and consulting, I’ve worked across frontline roles, operational environments, and executive support, gaining a grounded understanding of how workplaces function in practice.

My work today focuses on supporting venues, clubs, and organisations across Australia to meet their employer obligations in relation to psychosocial risk, sexual and gender-based harassment, and leadership responsibility.

Before moving into psychosocial compliance, I worked across almost every corner of the service industry — front-of-house, back-of-house, operations, training, leadership support, and multi-brand business ownership. Those years shaped how I approach this work: practically, proportionately, and with a clear understanding of operational pressures.

I support organisations in identifying risks, implementing appropriate policies and prevention measures, delivering targeted training, and providing leadership and board-level guidance where governance oversight is required.

My approach is trauma-informed in the sense that it recognises how workplace structures, power dynamics, and decision-making processes can impact people, without shifting responsibility away from the employer or overstepping into therapeutic or clinical domains.

I understand the pressures leaders are navigating today, the risks teams manage behind the scenes, and the operational and reputational costs of issues going unaddressed.

Everything I do is grounded in clarity, structure, and practical support — helping organisations take informed, reasonable steps in line with their obligations.
